Gavin Abell

• Born on the 9 June 1969, Gavin began his piping career, under the tuition of Les Waskis, when he was 12 years old. Gavin was a founder member of the African Skye Pipe Band and is currently a Piper in the Band. Gavin currently plays in competitions with the African Skye A Pipe Band and is responsible for their chanter tone.
